I was very pleased yesterday when riding down Northern Lights, the traffic was backed up from Lk Otis to Latouche... I reveled in the thought that all those people idling in traffic were just waisting money.. While, I, the lowly biker was spending no money what so ever AND getting to my destination faster than a speeding bullet.

Given the current gas prices in Alaska, we have started riding our bikes to work. Now, when we started this little adventure we didn't realize that what we had really started was our own fat camp. Neither one of us are in the best of shape, but God damn it! We will be by the end of summer!!! We have created this blog as not only a record of our progress, but as sort of an insurance policy that we are definitely stickin it to the man!!!!

Let's not forget the "stay the fuck out of the cross-walk" school as well. It is not for parking your car, or rolling into in order to wait for the light to change. It's for pedestrians and bikers to cross safely, you dumb sons of beeyotches!
